When we are creating games and animation movies for cinema. It needs 3D Characters which moves and make action.The process begins from 3D Modelling then Texturing.
Texturing is the graphical appearance to the 3D Model like its clothes hair etc.
when all these done the joints are made movable so that one can animate the hand legs according to his purpose.
Once rigging is done the body parts can be moved to make motion and convert to movies.
Animation is the last stage where small clips are created for specific motion, these is generally used in games where a specific motion is required repeatedly.
